Reuben & Junius represents clients from the beginning of a condemnation proceeding-which is typically a pre-condemnation offer letter-through the litigation process when agreement cannot be reached. We maintain close relationships with consultants needed for eminent domain proceedings.

The firm has represented private property owners in eminent domain acquisitions by the Bay Area Rapid Transit District and the Transbay Joint Powers Authority. Our work included obtaining just compensation for the taking, damages to properties arising from the taking, compensation for loss of business goodwill, and obtaining favorable relocation and re-establishment expenses.
