Alison L. Krumbein joined Reuben & Junius as an associate attorney in 2007. Ms. Krumbein’s practice focuses on land use, planning, zoning and environmental law. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Krumbein was an associate with the Walnut Creek office of Bingham McCutchen, where she specialized in CEQA litigation and the processing of entitlements for complex mixed use and residential projects. Ms. Krumbein worked as a legislative aide for San Francisco Supervisor Barbara Kaufman from 1997 until 2000.

LAND USE AND ENVIRONMENTAL LAW

Ms. Krumbein has experience advising property owners, developers and public agencies in all aspects of land use law, including planning, zoning, historic preservation and environmental review. Ms. Krumbein also has experience defending writ of mandate proceedings and counseling clients regarding CEQA compliance and a variety of other land use and environmental regulations. She has worked on permitting and entitlement matters for residential, retail, commercial and office projects ranging in size from single family homes to high-rise offices and condominiums.

Ms. Krumbein served as review editor of the 2006 edition of Curtin's California Land Use and Planning Law during her tenure as an associate at Bingham McCutchen. She also co-authored several articles on land use-related topics.
