LAND USE, PLANNING AND ZONING
Ms. Catalano has worked on a variety of land use and due diligence matters on behalf of real estate developers, property owners, and lenders. Ms. Catalano is experienced in the San Francisco planning and zoning process, and has handled various permitting and entitlement matters for residential, office and other projects, including several high-rise new construction projects in the Rincon Hill area, and a number of office-to-residential conversion projects in the Downtown area. Ms. Catalano has also worked on several historic preservation entitlement projects, including the renovation and re-use of two San Francisco landmark buildings, and other historically significant buildings. Ms. Catalano is also experienced in California Environmental Quality Act practice and compliance.

MORTGAGE EXPERIENCE
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Catalano worked as loan analyst and project manager for iOwn.com, an online residential mortgage broker and lender. During this time, she processed and underwrote residential mortgage loans nationwide.

Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Catalano received the faculty award for academic excellence in real estate law. Ms. Catalano graduated with specialization certificates in real estate law and in business law with an intellectual property concentration. During law school, Ms. Catalano received Witkin or CALI awards for Civil Procedure, Contracts, Federal Income Tax, Entertainment Law, Commercial Finance and Bankruptcy Law.
Ms. Catalano is fluent in Finnish.
