LAND USE, PLANNING AND ZONING
Mr. Eigerman has experience in most aspects of land use, planning and zoning. At Reuben & Junius, he has navigated clients through the permitting processes of various local, regional and state agencies, including the San Francisco Planning Department and Redevelopment Agency, the Port of San Francisco, the City of Millbrae, the City of San Mateo, the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission, and the State Lands Commission. Mr. Eigerman has also represented clients in negotiations to develop and lease government land.
While serving in San Francisco's Office of the City Attorney, Mr. Eigerman advised various city departments and bodies in various land use matters, including the Planning, Public Works and Real Estate departments, as well as the Public Utilities Commission. Before he began practicing law, Mr. Eigerman analyzed the multimedia industry for Gemini Consulting. He also interned with the Boston Redevelopment Authority, the San Francisco Planning Department, and the County Counsel of Marin County.
LITIGATION
Mr. Eigerman has handled eminent domain, inverse condemnation and quiet title actions, as well as writs of administrative and traditional mandamus, including challenges under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"). He is qualified to appear in all California courts, as well as before the Northern District of California and the Ninth Appellate Circuit.
