LAND USE AND ZONING
Mr. Yodowitz devotes a significant part of his practice to land use and zoning matters, representing clients before the San Francisco Department of Planning, Planning Commission, Board of Appeals and Redevelopment Agency, among other local agencies. He has represented owners and developers of high-rise office projects, hotels, restaurants, retail projects, telecommunication facilities, information technology businesses, multi-unit live/work, residential and industrial projects.
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION
Mr. Yodowitz has represented clients in a broad range of complex commercial cases, including antitrust, contract and securities matters, in state and federal courts. He has had substantial trial and appellate experience.
REAL ESTATE LITIGATION
Mr. Yodowitz has represented clients comprising a cross-section of the real estate industry, including developers, lenders, hotel and restaurant owners, landlords and tenants, in a wide variety of cases, such as purchase-sale disputes, foreclosures, boundary contests and receiverships.
CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION
Mr. Yodowitz has substantial experience in the construction arena, primarily representing commercial general contractors on both private and public jobs, but also on behalf of lenders and property owners. He has handled a significant number of claims involving payment disputes, mechanic's liens and defective construction.
